We are here to answer your questions about Hunter Peak Ranch and the area.As you come to Hunter Peak Ranch, you will travel from one of three directions. Each drive is spectacular in its own way. One route leaves WY Hwy 120 onto WY Hwy 296, also the Chief Joseph Scenic Hwy. This tops out over the Dead Indian Pass with impressive views of the Sunlight Basin.
The next two options: travel US Hwy 212, also called the Beartooth
Scenic Hwy; then turn onto WY Hwy 296, the Chief Joseph Scenic
Hwy. The drive west on Hwy 212 from Red Lodge, MT, traverses
the Beartooth Plateau. Exiting Yellowstone Park out the Northeast Entrance going east on US Hwy 212 is the third way to reach the ranch. Traveling through the park is a wonder unto itself with its many unique features and scenery.
