an absolutely PERFECT day our wedding was! The whole weekend, actually.
I don't know if you ordered that sunny day for us, but if you did,
God Bless you :) The wedding was gorgeous, the reception was lovely,
and the dance was awesome! And the rehearsal dinner, next-day-brunch,
and all of the meals were just spectacular! I have not one single
complaint. Everything was just as I imagined it would be and I
feel like such a lucky girl!
"Rena and I were married

and wants...the owners and staff met our every need to make this
event a time to remember for decades to come...we recommend HPR
to anyone from anywhere to enjoy their stay with you."
For a special day in your couple's life, getting married and having your reception here will be a wonderful experience. Many romantic weddings / receptions have occurred here over the years, with each being a special & unique occasion for the couples involved.
Let me ask you these questions:
• What is your desired date?
It is best to contact Shelley early in the process to book the day you want.
• How many people are you expecting?
The ranch, its grounds and lodge, is best suited to handle about one hundred guests. Smaller numbers make an intimate affair.
• Do you want an indoor or outside setting for the wedding ceremony and/or the reception?
The river and grounds offer several locations. The polished rock fireplace in the lodge provides a warm backdrop.
• Is your style formal, western, or casual?
The ranch is the canvas upon which you color.
• What details do you want to take care of? Which do you prefer the ranch handle?
What resources do you need? A list of local vendors has been gathered to help make detail decisions regarding florists, cake decorators, photographers, music, officiate, and rental facilities.
Many details make your wedding and reception unique and special. Let us begin the discussion to create your event.
Guest Testimonial: "The Burwell families have enjoyed reunions at Hunter Peak Ranch since 1981. In 2006, we had 26 family members spanning 4 generations from 9 different states. We always have a great time and plan to continue meeting there for future reunions. The facilities, food, and scenery are unbeatable and the friendly, personal attention of the Cary family and staff can't be beat. Thanks for so many years of good times and fond memories." The Fryers Reunions are great get to-gathers for families scattered from everywhere. Meeting here is a wonderful location for several reasons. This ranch and the area offer great recreational opportunities; fishing, hiking, riding, just to name a few. Yellowstone Park is nearby. Cody and Red Lodge are each an hour's drive with such gorgeous scenery along the way. And, the ranch has the flexibility and affordability to meet member's schedules and budgets.
Our accommodations are set up to handle groups very well. There are five two-bedroom suites, a large five-bedroom suite, and a river cabin to round out the sleeping options. We are set up to handle 38 people.
You are welcome to come into the lodge dining room for any, some, or all of your meals during your stay. Large group meal reservations need to be made 30 days before arrival. Special dietary requests should be made at that time. Accommodations have kitchens providing for flexible eating arrangements.
You are welcome to use the front room of the lodge as a central gathering location. Conversing around the fireplace in the evening is a pleasant way to reconnect with your family & friends. The next room has a ping pong table, books, puzzles, and the like. The grounds offer picnic tables and benches for your use. Lawn games include croquet, volleyball, and horseshoes. Feel free to bring games of you own to enjoy.
• How long of stay do you want?
As pricing is flexible, your reservations can be for days, a week, or longer.
• Want to make meal reservations?
Past reunions varied meal requests from all meals, breakfast and dinners to one special dinner.
• How do you want to handle the finances?
It can be done with individuals of the reunion making their own reservations or one person can be in charge and handle everything with us.
Special requests are considered as well. As an example: one reunion displayed family memorabilia in the front room for all to look over at their leisure.
We celebrate them every year. For your next one, come to the mountains. Bring your family and friends. Spending the day engaged in your favorite activity, and enjoying a scrumptious cake and ice cream following dinner of your favorites, makes for a very nice day.
